BlackWood Systems is a U.S. company incorporated in December of 1997, providing System-level consulting and Systems programming on HPE NonStop™ Computers. BlackWood Systems began development of a commercial-quality System Monitoring tool shortly after the company was formed.  MOMI officially launched January 1, 2000.

BlackWood Systems is an HPE Silver Technology Partner (previously known as the HP Developer & Solution Partner Program (DSPP) and the Tandem Alliance programs). BlackWood Systems supports the NonStop community through regular participation in yearly Connect Bootcamp Conferences (previously ITUG), HP Technology Forum conferences, and North American User Group meetings. The company has also been represented at SATUG (South Africa), BITUG (UK), OZTUG (Australia) and KNUG (South Korea).   

BlackWood Systems stays current with NonStop hardware and software enhancements using systems at the HPE Advanced Technology Center for ongoing product development and testing. MOMI software was used in the first NonStop migration from S-Series to Integrity in Europe in 2005, and added support for the NonStop X systems in 2014. MOMI software has been used a the HPE Advanced Technology Center and other HPE offices.
